Description
I actually painted this for a good friend of mine who hand-made my violin. He took some slides when he was in Switzerland in the mid 40's and asked me to paint this for him. The biggest obstacle was the only picture he had was a one inch slide and I didn't have a projector...couldn't find one, either! Obviously I figured it out, and he was very happy with the finished product!

Thanks so much, Elaine! I did this painting using only a very small slide (I don't have a projector) and painted it for an older gentleman (he's 91 now!) as partial payment on a violin he made for me. :)
