Description
I decided to paint a zebra because I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and the zebra is the symbol of The Ehlers-Danlos Society. Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is a genetic condition that effects the connective tissue (collagen) of the human body. I have Hypermobile type EDS which means my joints tend to move too far and are wearing out much faster than the average person. It is a very painful condition that has no cure and no "set" treatment. I'm hoping to raise awareness for EDS with this painting.
