Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

I've always thought giraffes looked friendly with those big, round, dark eyes with the long eyelashes. After actually getting to feed a couple of them at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs, I realized...I was RIGHT!! In the wild, I have no idea how they would act toward humans, but at the zoo they seemed VERY friendly! Now, if they thought you should be feeding them but you weren't paying attention they would use their super looooong tongues and necks to remind you that you are there for THEIR enjoyment and NOT the other way around! Now that I've done this painting of one of my favorite animals, I think I love them even more...
My name is Tom Riggs and I love art! I am a self-taught freelance artist living in Fort Collins, Colorado. My passion is in watercolor and I particulary enjoy painting on watercolor canvas. The finished product is sprayed with a fixative and UV protector so the paintings can be hung without glass. I love to paint landscapes/cityscapes with lots of light and strong contrasts. I was born in Wyoming and raised in Colorado where we get over 300 days of sunshine a year. Maybe that's why I love the bright, strong contrasts so much.
