Description
On a recent trip to San Antonio, Texas, we stopped by the Mission San Jose. What a beautiful place! The day was so hot that we pretty much had the place to ourselves and I could take great reference photos without being in anyone elses way!

Thank you, Sunil! It was extremely hot in San Antonio the day I took the reference photos for this painting. They were in a record-setting streak of days with triple digit heat when we were there four or five years ago. It made it a little uncomfortable, but it also assured there would be very few people out to get in the way of my photos! :)
